Tämähän oli jo odotettavissa, kun
kerroin näistä väreistä täällä. Mämmi on mun herkkua – sokerin ja vaniljakastikkeen
kanssa tietysti, nam. Okei, tiedän
kuuluvani pieneen hupenevaan vähemmistöön.
You
could have expected this when I told you about these colors here. Mämmi is a
kind of rye pudding. The dark brown color comes for cooking rye, water and syrup
for 8 hours. It is a Finnish ethnic food from 12th century. I usually eat it
with sugar and vanilla sauce, and it´s yummy. Though I know I belong to the ever
decreasing minority of mämmi lovers.
Valitsin joitakin tumman ruskeita kankaita,
yhtä vaalean punaista ja pikku tilkan kermaa.
I chose
some dark brown fabrics, one light red and a little piece of cream.
Yhdistin molemmat värit samaan
blokkiin, koska vaalean punainen ei oikein erottuisi taustasta yksinään. Ja
sitä paitsi, koska yhdessä vaiheessa muutin suunnitelmaa – tai siis kun
ylipäätään tein suunnitelman – ei eri värisiä blokkeja tulekaan 16:tta kuten
aluksi laskin. Mutta ehkä loppujen
lopuksi saan kuitenkin värejä kokoon 16.
I used
both brown and light red in the same block because the light red wouldn´t pop
up from the background alone. And because I changed the plan – or I mean I
actually made a plan – there won´t be 16 different colored blocks like I
counted first. But perhaps I´ll gather 16 colors but not in as many blocks.
Tämä blokki ei ole ihan niin kirkas
kuin aiemmat, mutta sopii sekaan ihan hyvin, tummia värejäkin tarvitaan.
This
block isn´t as bright as the ones I made earlier but it´s okay, dark colors are
needed too.
