Kangasvaraston tyhjennystä - Emptying the fabrics warehouse

Jostain syystä kangasvarastooni oli pesiytynyt vanhoja käytöstä poistettuja lakanoita ja verhoja, joita en kuitenkaan raaskinut heittää poiskaan. Tyypillinen tilkkuilijan tauti. Leikkasin kaikki sopivan väriset suikaleiksi ja neuloin 8-numeron puikoilla neliöiksi, jotka sitten yhdistin tyynynpäälliseksi. Sisätyynykin on vanhasta lakanasta ja sen täyte vanhasta tyynystä. Tämän tyynyn vien kesällä parvekkeelle.

 

For some reason my warehouse of fabrics was infested with old sheets and curtains that I hadn’t had the courage to throw away. How typical of a quilter. I went on to cut all the ones with the right colors into nice strips and knit them together into squares using a #8 needle. I combined them into pillow casings. The actual pillow is also made out of an old sheet and the fillings are from an old pillow. This one is going to the balcony when summer comes.
